Dmitry Bertman was a member of the jury of the II International Competition named after Muslim Magomaev

II International Competition named Muslim Magomaev dedicated to the seventieth birthday of the great singer was held in Moscow on the 20th and the 21st of October. Among the participants were the representatives of Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, the U.S., South Korea, North Korea, Mongolia, Uzbekistan.

Professional singers aged from 18 to 50 years with special musical education and students of music schools took part in the Competition.

The jury of the competition included leading opera singers, famous artists, musicians from Russia, Azerbaijan, Italy, among them were the People's Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova, People's Artist of Russia, Georgia and Ingushetia Tamara Gvertsiteli, People's Artist of the USSR and Azerbaijan Farhad Shamsi oglu Badalbeyli, artistic director Academy of opera of Osimo Vincenzo de Vivo People's Artist of the RSFSR Leshchenko, Artistic Firector of "Helikon-opera" People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Bertman.
