The Minister of Culture Alexander Avdeev presented the governmental awards to some of the outstanding workers of culture. Artistic Director of "Helikon-Opera" Dmitry Bertman was presented with The Order of Friendship. The minister warmly greeted the master and congratulated him with the unanimous decision of the Public Council of Mayor of Moscow about the completion and the fastest finishing of the reconstruction of theatre's building in Bolshaya Nikitskaya.

The Minister noted that even the theatre and its building are not federal, the Ministry ofCcutlure highly appreciates the creative activities of "Helikon-Opera" theatre. It is "Helikon-Opera", which will present Russia at the International Birgitta Festival in Estonia, which is going to take place in August 2011 in the context of the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Estonia.
