On May 4, 2013 Verdi's "Nabucco" opera, directed by the artistic director of "Helikon-Opera" theatre Dmitry Bertman, was presented with world opera stars Maria Guleghina and Placido Domingo. The performance was shown as apart of the celebrations to mark the opening of the new "Mariinsky-2" theatre.

"Nabucco" in Dmitry Bertman, Tatiana Tulubieva and Igor Nezhny production was included in the repertoire of the Mariinsky Theatre in 2005. This production is very popular with the audience, Russian and international opera celebrities regularly participate in it.
