07/04/2011 "The Declaration of Love" concert in Estrada Theatre

On the 6th of April the opening of the Third Theatrical Charity Marathon, organized by Eugene and Maria Mironov's "Artist" Fund for supporting the workers of art, took place in Estrada theatre. This evening "The Declaration of Love" festive concert was held. Famous actors and soloists of "Helikon-Opera" theatre under Dmitry Bertman took part in the event.

It was the third time, when the famous workers of art and culture united to support their older colleagues to express their respect. All collected means from such events are annually sent to the Fund to give an emergency medical help to the veterans and disabled actors.

Everybody was speaking about love in language of music and poetry, which unites people of all ages. Eugene Mironov, Maria Mironova, Irina Apeksimova, Igor Petrenko, Irina Pegova were reading poems by I. Bunin, A. Fet, F. Sologub, I. Severianin, M. Tsvetayeva, N. Zabolotsky, B. Pasternak, W. Shakespeare. Soloists of "Helikon-Opera" theatre Natalia Zagorinskaya, Ksenia Viaznikova, Larisa Kostiuk, Alexandra Kovalevich, Maria Maskhulia, Irina Samoilova, Elena Semenova, Vadim Zaplechny, Peter Morozov, Andrey Palamarchuk, Dmitry Yankovsky, choir and orchestra of "Helikon" theatre performed arias from "Ruslan and Ludmila" by M. I. Glinka, "Faust" by G. Bizet, "Il Pagliacci" by R. Leoncovallo, "Porgy and Bess" by G. Gershwin, "Undine" by P. I. Tchaikovsky, "Les Contes d'Hoffmann" by J. Offenbach. The conductor was the laureate of the "Triumph" Youth theatre prize Konstantin Chudovsky. The stage directors of the evening were Marina Brusnikina and Dmitry Bertman.

In the end the participants of the performance handed flowers to the veterans, who were in the theatre's hall.

The Third Theatrical Charity Marathon will last until the 27th of April 2012.
